THE OPEN GARDENS PROGRAM
	Open Gardens Toronto is a distinctive program in that our gardens are open on the long, weekday evenings of May, June, July and August and then on weekend afternoons in September and October. Another distinctive feature of Open Gardens Toronto is that the gardener is there in his/her garden to answer any questions that visitors may have. We do not wish to compete with the many garden tours that are scheduled for our city neighbourhoods throughout the summer. We like to think of Open Gardens Toronto as a program rather than a tour. You will see from the Garden Openings by Date that there are both single gardens and groups of gardens open in various parts of the city on different afternoons and evenings so that you can visit a small group of gardens in the same area at one time.
